Question 1

Do students need an account?

Accepted Answer

Yes. They sign up with their email, confirm it, and choose a password. Then they join your class with its code, or you can invite them by email and they are added automatically.

Question 2

Is it safe to let students run code?

Accepted Answer

Their Python runs inside their own browser, in a sandbox. It can’t read your files, reach other students’ work, or call the site on your behalf.

Question 3

Does it work on school Chromebooks?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Everything runs in the browser. Video responses need a laptop or desktop because they record the notebook screen.

Question 4

Can I use notebooks I already have?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Upload any .ipynb file and use it as a starter, or download any notebook as .ipynb or .py.
